

Sanlam is the chief sponsor of amateur golf in South Africa through the annual Sanlam Cancer Challenge, the largest amateur golf tournament in Africa and one of the longest-standing sport sponsorships in the country.
The Sanlam Cancer Challenge is held on golf courses countrywide and raises money for the fight against cancer, attracting more than 40 000 golfers annually.
More than R1 million is raised every year in aid of the Cancer Association of South Africa – money spent on cancer prevention and patient care services.
